Flaky, golden pastry wrapped around savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melty cheese—these roll-ups are the kind of quick breakfast that makes mornings a little easier (and a whole lot tastier).

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cooked breakfast sausage links — hearty, savory filling
  • 4 large eggs — whisked and scrambled to perfection
  • 1 tablespoon milk — keeps the eggs tender
  • Salt & pepper — season to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter — for the skillet
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese — adds a gooey layer of flavor
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough — the golden blanket that holds it all together

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven. Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the eggs. In a small bowl, beat eggs with milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook the eggs. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and scramble gently until they’re just set—soft and fluffy, not dry.
  4. Prep the dough. Roll out the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  5. Fill each roll. Spoon scrambled eggs onto the wide end of each triangle, sprinkle with cheddar, then lay a sausage link on top.
  6. Roll it up. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough around the filling and pinch the edges lightly to seal.
  7. Bake. Arrange the roll-ups on your prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, until the tops are puffed and golden brown.
  8. Serve. Enjoy warm, straight from the oven—or pack them up for an on-the-go breakfast!

Notes

Pro Tip: Add a dash of hot sauce or swap in pepper jack cheese if you like a little morning heat.
